Timber pests
There is no single treatment that fits every house. A termite inspection comes first, so we can recommend the right mix of dusting and foaming, physical or chemical barriers, baiting, or a reticulation system.
Book an urgent inspection if you suspect activity in the home, in trees or stumps, or in retaining walls. Australian Standard 3660 recommends a basic timber pest inspection every year.
Before you buy · while you own
Pre-purchase inspections look at the quality and structural integrity of the property and the ground around it. Existing owners book timber pest inspections, and we re-inspect termite barrier treatments so they keep doing their job.
Things we look for: termite mudding, hollow-sounding timber, chewing behind boards, bubbling paint, flight cuts, high moisture, fungal decay, and pinholes in timber.
Everyday invaders
DIY rarely finishes a cockroach problem. Ants take over kitchens. Mosquitoes thrive in a subtropical climate. Spiders need to be identified before treatment, especially if a dangerous species is on site. Fleas have to be handled on the pet and in the house.
We also manage rodents — forty years of it — plus birds and possums. Treatments are chosen for the species, then applied where they live, not fogged through the whole house for the sake of it.
